We're Going to the Zoo Zoo Zoo...

With the surprise move this summer, we've spent a lot of time packing, so Monday we decided to put all of that aside and enjoy a beautiful 70 degree day at the zoo.  It was just me and the three kiddos, and we headed up north of the border to a lovely zoo...and made a stop at the world's best frozen custard joint ever.  My mom craved ice cream from this place when she was pregnant with me, so I truly think that it is in my blood.  I marveled at the fact that my little one is not so little anymore- we didn't have to lug along a stroller or heavy diaper bag...dare I say that things are getting a little easier?!

Here are some photos from our day:

We decided to visit the apes first.

Little bee was pretty sure the apes were not to be trusted.

The baby ape statue was more her style

Sea lion and Seal show...there was even a baby sea lion sunbathing and getting used to the scenery.

Turtle sundae.  Yes, I will happily drive across state lines for one of these babies.

Indoctrinating another generation into the goodness.

Nom nom nom
